Its Monday morning and I wish it was Sunday somehow, I didn’t sleep well and im feeling very tired even though that yesterday I got up early, met Angela in Tahrir Square so that we could go to the Mugama building and sort out our Visa’s which had already expired.
Taken some new photos (never seen a country that loves having so many photographs from people), which look quite good, don’t worry Mum I will be keeping a spare for the Family Portrait…. Hehehehehe
Then while I was taking the photos Angela went to get the forms, then we filled them in, went to another floor where the process of applying for a Tourist Visa can be quite weird, this is when you jump from window to window …………. Hahahahahaha
It was quite straight forward, we only jumped to a second window cause we had to buy stamps for the visa, and it cost 91.5 LE (equivalent to 9.15 Uk pounds aprox.) then we were told to wait for 2 hrs so we decided to go for a bite to eat and a great coffee shop (im sorry to say better than starbucks) which is called Cilantro (Latin name Coriandrum sativum) which means Coriander in English.
We sat in this balcony for the majority of the time, taken some somehow cool/weird photos, which I will soon post on this page (ANGELAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA get your pretty ass moving …………).
Then to make things cooler after 2 hrs we were back in Mugama and our passports were there waiting for us, its so cool, then we headed to Angela’s cool and relaxing house with the underground ( which is sooooo clean and safe to be in, well be aware of pick-pockets) for a feast of Pasta (you should have seen us both in the kitchen, for those of you who know me well imagine me cooking with someone I never cooked before………. Poor Angela…….)
Then we just laid in her bedroom, talking, telling jokes, and taking photos in black and white. I miss my digital cam, my Mummy gave me one for Xmas but somehow there is no focus on the cam, tried so many different things and I cant get it to work at all, have to save money and buy one very much very very soon.
Then caught a lift home from a friend who works in Angela’s area ( Dokki) and then went home and had a an early rush to bed, but cause im reading Dan Brown’s book Deception Point I am in the crucial part and its too exciting not to read, so I read till 2330 and then had to sleep as I couldn’t be awake anymore.
Woke up every 2 hrs with cravings, first was something sweet as my heart was pounding in my chest, then was water, the the WC, then I just read for 15 mins and managed to sleep well between 4am and 7:45am.
Anyway guys, more news to follow, still haven’t found a flat, and the clock is ticking, asked a close friend and colleague to give me a hand. Please pray for me that all will be well.
